I cheated Death
Hi my name is Andrew and this is my life story, A number of years ago I was into Thai kickboxing and keeping fit, I achieved European champion 1993-96-96-98 Black belt 7th Dan 2nd degree instructor. And most days I would run 10 miles to keep in peak fitness. One day I defended a young lady who was about to be raped by a two men. Police was called and they offered me a lift home, I declined because I thought the walk home would help maintain my fitness.
However on the walk home I was caught by 11friends of the two men all together there was 13 and severally beat me up with baseball bats etc…
I was in hospital from 1998-2001 and 7months in a coma. I suffered multiple injuries such as kidney problems, 2 strokes, 1 heart attack, of which now I have a pacemaker, the doctor’s prognosis was that I would never walk or talk again.
During my hospital stay many people prayed for me, I was given a bible. Also I had several near death experience’s, (NDE’s) In one experience I noticed that one of the medics was wearing strange athletic footwear during my surgery. After coming back I mentioned this to him and the only way I could have known is because my spirit had left my body.
More importantly I saw and talked with the Lord Jesus Christ during my nde’s.
Today I must admit at the time I written this short article (Nov 2006) I am not 100% physically fit but can walk and talk with no problem or aids praise the lord.
When I was 13 I was attending the Salvation Army but later fell away from the Christian faith but today I am back in fellowship with the lord, which is the main thing in life.
Also I nursed my mum 3 years with cancer and sadly she died but she known almighty god so she is waiting in heaven so is my daughter of who died at the age of 4 also my ex partner cheated on me whilst in hospital and she left me homeless and without money but whatever happens like the footprints in the sand god is near , ready to carry you through he is our Sheppard and our hope amen, He will never leave or forsake us .
(Romans6: 23) For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Maybe Like me you have drifted away from the lord or possibly never known him.
Please get right with him now. As a first step pray the prayer below and mean it!!
Dear Jesus long before I knew how much I needed you, you were there for me.
Thank you for loving me so much that you were willing to die on the cross for my sins. You gave everything for me. I give you all that I have, my heart, my life, and my love. In return come and live within me that I might honour you in everything I do … AMEN.
