I had the privilege of seeing the movie as it was released over here in America. The atmosphere in the cinema was more in line with a church meeting. There were no ads or credits and only the cinema owner introducing the film and at the end leading the viewers in a prayer of repentance and salvation. One of the most life-changing films I have ever seen. I pray many will come to know the Lord after seeing this. I have heard that there is a move to re-release that old movie "The life of Brian" in an effort by unbelievers to 'bring a balance into the mass hysteria of the Passion". Please join me in prayer that this will not happen.

Bible reading increases in US following release of the Passion 31/3/04 People in the US are reading the Bible more as a result of Mel Gibson's controversial movie "The Passion of the Christ" according to a Beliefnet.com poll, which was sponsored by Zondervan, the world's largest Bible publisher. 75% of people also believe that the film was "very close" to the Bible's account of Jesus' death. 15 percent responded "somewhat close" and five percent answered "not close at all." Another 5 percent said they weren't sure. This is a question that has been debated frequently in public in the last few days, with a judge in France finding that the biblical text was not manipulated in the film but a catholic Bishop suggesting that it presented an "incomplete theological picture". Sixty-two percent of all respondents answered "yes" to the question, "Are you reading the Bible more as a result of the movie 'The Passion of the Christ?'" The poll also found that 41 percent of respondents had a more positive view of the Bible as a result of the movie, while 53 percent said their view of the Bible hadn't changed and 5 percent said they weren't sure. April 30
A few weeks ago I gave master copies of our Passion tracts to a Christian friend so he could photocopy them and distribute copies.
He just told me he went to the cinema recently to see The Passion of The Christ. He left the movie 5 minutes before the end and as the people were leaving everyone took a tract. He told me that one man in particular sat on a bench outside and read the tract very carefully.
PRAISE THE LORD!!!
