New film to prove accuracy of Bible? 'Exodus' project documents evidence from Joseph, Red Sea, Mount Sinai Posted: June 4, 2006 By Joe Kovacs Recent films from "The Passion of the Christ" to the fictional "Da Vinci Code" may have reignited the public's interest in matters of faith, but a newly completed movie could go far beyond the impact of both blockbusters, potentially verifying the historical accuracy of much of the Bible. The Book distinctly states FICTION on it. Why has people gone out of the way to prove a work of fiction, wrong? Fiction means to make up. I am glad this book was written. God moves in mysterious a ways. Some Christians can be so complacent about their religions. It is treated as a given. I am Christian, mine is the true God and everyone else is wrong. BUt what do we do about proving to non-christians. Jesus said "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel. And lo I am with you always." DO we? Do we love our neighbours as ourselves? Do we feed the hungry, dress the naked, house the homeless as we were instructed? If we are Christlike (Christian) in name alone can we complain if other religions are growing faster, taking over etc? I believe the Da Vinci Code was written to make us, think, get up and do something. And it has phappened. People have got up and written their TRUTH. Let's stop reacting and pro act or even ACT as Christians
