Why is the UK under God's Judgment?
We have sown the wind ...
* Abolished the death penalty but legalised the murder of children in the womb;
* Enacted no-fault divorce on demand and forced mothers out to work;
* Legalised trading on the Lord's day and instituted a national lottery;
* Legalised pornography and homosexual acts and taught evil to our children in school;
* Given away the Queen's sovereignty - owed to Almighty God alone - to the European Union.
And we reap the whirlwind:
* 6 million unborn children have died in just 35 years;
* 40% of births are now illegitimate, 56% of marriages end in divorce, 29% of men are economically inactive and over a million children are in day care;
* There are two-and-a-half times as many murders as fifty years ago, 45 times as much violent crime, 18 times as many rapes are reported, and crime rates generally have increased 10-fold;
* TV, radio, and the arts are awash with blasphemy, violence and perversion, while virtue is derided;
* Public and personal debt has overtaken income - the average British household now owes almost £40,000;
* Government has become bureaucratic, profligate and corrupt, injustice is being done in our land and our historic liberties are being taken away.
Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness.
Isaiah 10:1

Facts about Abortion
* Abortion was legalised in England, Wales and Scotland in 1967. It remains illegal in Northern Ireland.
* Prior to 1967 the Courts permitted abortion where the mother's life was in danger. This is still the position in Northern Ireland.
* In England and Wales only 137 abortions were carried out in 2003 because of a risk to the mother's life.1 [Statutory ground A]
* In the same year only 1,950 abortions were performed because the child was likely to be born handicapped;2 [Statutory ground E]
* A further 2,218 abortions were carried out in 2003 because of the risk of grave permanent injury to the physical or mental health of the mother.3 [Statutory ground B]
* By contrast 177,286 abortions (97% of all legal abortions) were carried out in 2003 for social reasons.4 [Statutory grounds C and D]
* So less than 2.4% of all abortions in England and Wales are performed because of handicap or serious injury to the mother.5
* Two doctors must certify the grounds for abortion (unless the mother's life is in imminent danger or she is at imminent risk of grave permanent injury in which case a second opinion is not necessary).
